Property description

This striking modern building completed in 1992 has Scandinavian-style high ceilings with lots of pine and exposed beams.
In Gaelic `coolangatta' means 'splendid water view' and Coolangatta Country House certainly has one of those, enjoying as it does a lovely position overlooking Lough Derg.

There are 3 spacious bedrooms with private bathrooms, a separate sitting room with TV and tea/coffee-making facilities. Your host, Mary McGeeney serves a splendid breakfast with lots of choices. Mary also arranges traditional music nights and set dancing tuition is available. Coolangatta is open all year round.

The area is quiet and ideal for walking; for the more energetic, watersports and folk dancing are on offer.
