Doorus House Youth Hostel sits on a peninsula between the bays of Galway and Kinvara at the base of the Burren Mountains. There is a Blue Flag Beach 5 minutes walk from Hostel.
There is music most every night in Kinvara Village. The Hostel Manager's update guest upon check-in of the nights music and entertainment options.

This setting offers a great base for exploring Connemara to the north, the Burren close by, the Cliffs of Moher to the southwest and the Aran Islands off the West Coast.
Hill walking, fishing, cycling and viewing the area's spectacular archaeological remains are popular activities nearby.
