Pension Pod Lipou Bed and Breakfast in Loucovice, Czech Republic, Europe

The pension-restaurant is situated in the village of LouÃ¨ovice near lake Lipno, not far from the border crossing to Austria, StudÃ¡nky/Weigetschlag. This area can be visited during summer and winter Holidays.

In summer the lake offers the opportunity to bath, surf go on steamboat trips and the surrounding woods are ideal for hiking and mushroom picking. In winter there are numerous cross-country ski routes and several slopes for downhill racers in the ski-area KramolÃn in the village of Lipno. There is also the possibility to ski in Austria in the Alps, (80 km from here) or on the border slopes, e.g. Sternstein.

We offer accommodation in comfortable double, triple and four-bed rooms with TV-sets, bathrooms and WC. Breakfast is included
in the price of the room.

There are numerous historical monuments and places of interest in this region such as ÃˆeskÃ½ Krumlov - City Monuments Reservation of the UNESCO, which has a unique castle and parkland, which has a rotating auditorium. Every summer the there are many performances in the theatre that you can enjoy. The Gothic monastery VyÂšÂšÃ Brod has a wide collection of valuable pictures, a library of great worth and a post-office museum In HornÃ PlannÃ¡ - the place of birth of Adalbert Stifter is also an attractive area for you to visit.
