Less than 100 metres from Keleti Railway Station, The Aquarium Youth Hostel has been listed for years as one of the best hostels in Budapest by several prestigious guide books such as 'Let's Go', 'Lonely Planet', 'Frommers', 'La Guide du Routard' and many others, not just because our ideal location -close to the main Railway Station 'Keleti pu' and a few minutes walk to the city's center- but also because our affordable prices, openess of mind and homely atmosphere.

The hostel consist of just 7 rooms in a large apartment with double bed and twin beds rooms, and rooms with 3, 4, 6 and 7 beds, plus a well furnished kitchen, a common room with a computer, a TV and a radio sets, 2 bathrooms with showers -3 toilets. According to majority of former guests, our hostel is an ideal place for couples and small groups.

1) Please select accurately your arrival time to the hostel as we do NOT have 24-hour reception desk and to secure someone will be waiting to let you in at your arrival time. If there are any changes in your arrival plans please inform us ahead -by phone, sms or email- of your new arrival time.

2) The hostel is situated in a more than 100 years old reesidential building, so it is important to keep quiet specially late at night (after 10 pm). The common room is accessible until midnight.

3) The price is given in euros and the payment needs to be made in cash at arrival and it can be made in euros or its equivalent in Hungarian currency buying rate for euros.
