Property description

Dusseldorf- the "Little Paris" on the Rhine is well worth more than just one visit. Around the world famous "KÖ" and the lovely Old Town there´s much to see. The architectural highlights in the Media Harbour and the lively variety of art and media lend the city a special flair.

The Dusseldorf City Hostel is situated in the district of Oberkassel and right on the picturesque left bank of the Rhine river. Located directly at the foot of the Rheinknie Bridge, and right across from the Old Town, it is also very close to the city´s centre. All it´s sights are fast and easy to reach.

Due to the central location and comfortable atmosphere, the Dusseldorf Hostel is the perfect address for anyone who wishes to indulge in the various things to see and do which the state capital and region have to offer.

The first of 2 phases of reconstruction has been completed and the hostel is now equipped with:

184 beds divided among 49 rooms, all of which have ensuite bathrooms.
A dining/common room is available.

Sightseeing in Dusseldorf and outskirts:

- The "Landtag" parliamentary building (15 min. by foot)
- The Television tower (15 min. by foot)
- The Old Town (20 min. by foot)
- The Königsalle "KÖ" (30 min. by foot, max 15 min. by train)
- The Aquazoo (30 min. by train)
- The Trade Fair Centre and LTU Arena (30 min. by train)
- The Benrath Palace (30 min. by train)


The pre-requisite for staying in Youth Hostels is the International Youth Hostel membershipcard. Please contact your local Youth Hostel Association Headquarters in your country. If you don't have an International Youth-Hostel-Card, an extra payment of 3,10 € for each of the first 6 nights will be required!
