The Yellow Submarine is a privatly owned Hostel situated in the central area of Budapest; a stone's throw from Blaha Lujza square and an array of tourist highlights and exciting night spots. The 'Yellow Sub' was established in 1996 and has always been a popular spot among young and forever young backpackers looking for a centrally located quiet place to stay. Silence is required at night so this is not a party hostel.

Since 1996 little has changed except everything - we are changing according to your need and deeds. You will find a million things to do & be at any time of the year on any budget in many ways. Whether you need a bunk in one of our dorms, a single, a double, a triple, or a quad room we will accommodate your needs. Special arrangements can be quickly and easily made for big or small groups.

Yellow Submarine features internet access, laundry services, hot drinks, a travelers' lending/swapping' library, caving tours, and daily updated info board.

Whether you need a recommendation for a good city tour, information on the thermal baths, where to eat, the great night life, almost anything, our multilingual staff is ready to apply their knowledge of Budapest and the surrounding areas to help you out in way that will make your stay with us and your visit to beautiful Budapest a more pleasurable experience.
