The Museum Guest House 2 Hostel in Budapest, Hungary, Europe

Next to Astoria metro station -a strategic central location 5 min. walk from the Danube river and other important places such as Kalvin, Ferenciek, Blaha Luiza and Deak F. squares, The Museum Guest House 2 is a small, friendly and open minded hostel. This and much more make us the ideal place to start exploring Budapest. We are located in the BEST downtown area (just look at our location in a map). We are opposite to the Grand Sinagogue -one of the city's landmarks, a 2 min. walk to the National Museum and a few minutes walk to St. Stephen's Basilica, the splendid Central Hall Market and the Gellert and Rudas Thermal baths, as well as Vaci utca, the Duna Corso, the Royal Palace (on the Buda side, atop the hill after the Chain bridge) and many other important places of historical interest.

We offer a fast wireless internet connection with 2 computers for free use, a confortable common room with a satelite TV with 300 channels, a furnished kitchen for self-catering, individual lockers with own key, a policy of NO-CURFEW and FLEXIBLE check-out time that allows our guests to use our common facilities until they leave. We do have a young, friendly and welcoming staff able to speak fluently in English, Spanish, Italian and Serbian. We provide twin and doubles, and dorms with 3, 4, 8 and 10 beds. There are special discounts for people wishing to stay for long periods.

We are always ready to provide our guests with any information required, such as walking, caving and sight seeing tours, restaurants, concerts, etc.

We do enjoy a cool and relaxed atmosphere that makes everyone feel at home. The hostel is situated in a middle class residential building. The common room operates until midnight. For those wishing to party we can reccommend some of the nearby clubs, discos and pubs (we have many in the area!).

We do accommodate new arrivals on the basis of 'first comes, first served''.

Some of our doubles, twins and triple bedded rooms are located in the hostel itself or in an attached apartment next to the hostel or to an apartment next to the Danube river (5 min. walk -with the most fantastic view of the river and its surrounding!). On request, you can be placed at this apartment, but it would depend on availabily at the time of your arrival.

NOTES.
1) Please pay attention to select the accurate arrival time to the hostel. If there are any changes in your arrival time please do not forget to inform us your new arrival time.

2) The hostel is situated in a more than 100 years old reesidential building, so it is important to keep quiet specially late at night (after 10 pm). The common room is accessible until midnight.

3) The price is given in euros and the payment needs to be made in cash at arrival and it can be made in euros or its equivalent in Hungarian currency buying price for euros (as if you were to buy euros with Hungarian currency).
